People often think that because I am a personal trainer and nutritionist I am 100% focused on my fitness, nutrition and health 100% of the time…I’m not!
I can let the weekend run away with me
I find it extremely difficult to only have one glass of wine
Once the chocolate’s open that’s it!
I don’t always want to press play on my workout…and even when I do press play I don’t always enjoy it!
I don’t really enjoy running
I drink a little too much coffee
I don’t always drink enough water
I am HUMAN!
And I’m certainly not perfect!
That’s why I don’t expect my clients to be perfect all of the time either
I’ll have days when I am hitting every intention I’ve set myself and I’ll have days when I don’t
I’ll have days when I feel like pressing play and I’ll have days when I don’t (this morning in fact)
I’ll have days when I feel like I’m failing and I’ll have days where I feel like I’m winning
And even as a personal trainer and nutritionist I allow myself to ‘fail’…because that means I’m taking action…and when I take action I know I’m ultimately winning
